AEROBATIC FLYING DISPLAYS

The Singapore Airshow 2020 will feature a spectacular line-up of flying displays that will take your breath away! Expect be awed by the swashbuckling manoeuvres and amazing aerial performances by the 2020 flying display teams.




*The Organiser reserves the right to alter the timings and/or line-up or cancel the flying display due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that not all teams will perform everyday.

REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE AERIAL DISPLAY TEAM
F15 + 2 X AH64


The F-15SG is an all-weather multi-role fighter designed to achieve air superiority over the battlefield. Featuring the state-of-the-art cockpit and advanced avionics, including the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS), the F-15SG provides the Pilot and Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) (Fighter) with increased situation awareness, enhanced air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities. The aircraft is powered by two General Electric F110-GE-129 turbofan engines, each rated at 29,000 lbs thrust with afterburner.

The AH-64D Apache Longbow is a multi-mission helicopter, designed to fight and survive in day, night and adverse weather conditions. It is the first tandem-seat helicopter in the RSAF, with the pilot located in the rear seat and co-pilot in the front seat. The AH-64D Longbow Apache is equipped with a highly sophisticated Fire Control Radar (FCR), which gives it the ability to detect, classify and prioritise stationary and moving targets both on the ground and in the air. The helicopter is powered by two General Electric T700-GE-701C Gas Turbine Engines, each producing 1,890 Shaft Horsepower (SHP).

F-22 RAPTOR


The F-22 Raptor is the Air Force's newest fighter aircraft. Its combination of stealth, supercruise, maneuverability, and integrated avionics, coupled with improved supportability, represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities. The Raptor performs both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions allowing full realization of operational concepts vital to the 21st century Air Force.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS

F-35B JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER


The F-35B Lightning II is the Marine Corps variant of the Joint Strike Fighter and features a vertical lift fan and pivoting engine nozzle to deliver vertical landing and short takeoff capability to expeditionary airfields. The F-35 will replace AV-8B Harrier IIs in the Marine Corps inventory.


UNITED STATES AIR FORCE
B-52 STRATOFORTRESS


The B-52H Stratofortress is a long-range, heavy bomber that can perform a variety of missions. The bomber is capable of flying at high subsonic speeds at altitudes of up to 50,000 feet (15,166.6 meters). It can carry nuclear or precision guided conventional ordnance with worldwide precision navigation capability.

B-52 will be doing a fly-by on 15 Feb (Sat).

PEOPLE'S LIBERATION ARMY AIR FORCE

BA YI - J10s


10.30am - 11.15am and 1pm – 1.45pm @theMarquee

The Bayi Aerobatics Team was founded in January 1962, and had operated J-5, J-6, J-7s fighters before the current J-10 multi-role aircraft. The J-10 fighter planes are painted predominantly sapphire blue, with red and white markings that symbolize a sharp sword in the sky. The Bayi Aerobatic Team demonstrates the capabilities of the aircraft through solo and team performances, which comprise multiple plane formations with various complex maneuvers and a spectacular display of aerobatics.
